GAME: a new play in 3 parts

HELLO AUDIENCE!

We are so excited to be opening the doors again, and our first production since March 2020 is a truly unique theatrical experience. GAME is a new play set in the changing room of a local female football team, and is presented in 3 very different parts….

‘Pre-Match’ covers the build up to Trent Ladies FC’s dramatic cup match, recorded as a audio play which will be released on our website.

‘Half-Time’ picks up the action during (you’ve guessed it) the half-time break, which will be released the following week as a 15-minute film.

‘Post-Match’ is the climactic final instalment of the story, and you can come and see this LIVE at our Richmond House studio in Nottingham City Centre, when theatres re-open the week of June 21st.

The first two parts will be available for FREE online, and you can book your seats for the final act here: https://buytickets.at/thetelevisionworkshop
Book in quickly as space is VERY LIMITED. Currently there are only 24 tickets available for each performance, as we are awaiting government guidance on the level of distancing required in our venue, if any. When we know more, more tickets may be released. Make sure to join the waiting list on the booking site if you don’t manage to snap up an early-bird ticket, and you’ll be informed if/when more tickets are released.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Workshop to share this incredible new project…

It’s the semi-finals of the cup, and the first time Trent Ladies have made it there. But what happened last night threatens the game plan. A tale of ballsy women who will defend each other to the end… GAME ON!

GAME: Post-Match is the live finale to The Television Workshop’s unique 3-part production, and welcomes audiences back to our Richmond House venue for the first time since March 2020.

Important COVID safety information will be emailed to the address used to book tickets; keep an eye out in the days leading up to the performances. We will also contact you about how to enjoy the first two parts of the story online before you visit us for the final act!
