The Nottingham Over-16′s self directed play festival was a real test for the group. Working on small cast plays, they had to pull off a performance with minimal direction – relying on each other to give notes and get the pieces ready. The Nottingham Trent University Theatre Design students pulled off something of a miracle. With only a day’s turnaround they managed to create six totally different sets, costume six casts, provide props for all the plays, design and operate the lighting and even build seating for the audience!!!
