Burying Your Brother

Posted on April 21st, 2008

Nottingham Trent University Theatre Design students created an amazing set for Jack Thorne’s Burying Your Brother in the Pavement – our second National Theatre Connections project for 2008. With music created by Claire Ingleheart (Measure for Measure, Dark of the Moon) and choreography from ex Workshopper Stacey Gaunt, the show was always going to be special. Telling the story of a young boy’s coming to terms with his brother’s death, the lead role was shared between Terry Haywood and Kieran Taylor.

My Last Five Girlfriends

Posted on April 11th, 2008

Ex Workshopper Julian Kemp returned to Notts – a cold location in Cotgrave – to use the Under 11s in his latest film, My Last Five Girlfriends. Tia Campbell and Louis Greatorex play Gemma and Giles, boyfriend and girlfriend meeting at a kids camp. Lots of opportunities for games – Ian leading his usual stretching and scrunching.
