An Evening With Samantha Morton

Samantha MortonBafta award-winning young people’s drama group The Television Workshop welcome their patron and ex Workshop member Samantha Morton back to Nottingham to host a fund-raising evening for the Workshop. With numerous other successful Workshoppers in attendance, the event at the Broadway Cinema promises to be a roll call of some of the many stars the Workshop has developed. The highlight of the evening will undoubtedly be a rare chance to hear Sam Morton talk about her amazing career in film and television – including Minority Report, In America, Enduring Love, Band of Gold, Control and Longford. Sam joined the Workshop at 13 and her early successes with the group built the foundations for her meteoric rise to become one of this country’s most exciting actors. She will be interviewed by Sight and Sound’s Nick James – a leading film critic.

This exciting event is on Monday 3rd November at the Broadway Cinema, Broad Street, Nottingham (7.15 reception for the main event kicking off at 7.45pm)

All profits go to The Television Workshop to help deliver its unique and free training package to local youngsters from a wide variety of backgrounds, providing the platform for their talent on stage and screen.
